Bolnore Village Scout Group was founded in 2011. The Group serves a total of around 70 children and boasts a Beaver Colony (6-8 year olds), a Cub Pack (8-10½yr olds) and a Scout Troop (10½-14yr olds).
The Group is a charity overseen by the Trustee Board. The trustees also support the group through fundraising, event co-ordination, and a host of other practical and administrative tasks necessary to maintain the smooth running of a Scout Group.
Each Section has a team of volunteers who plan, organise and run programmes. The Group Lead Volunteer supports Lead Volunteers for each section and their teams. Occasional Helpers are enhanced DBS checked adults who support the volunteering teams for occasional events.
Bolnore Scout Group relies on volunteers who give up their time to organise and run section meetings and events throughout the year. Bolnore Scout Group is incredibly fortunate to have an amazing team of enthusiastic, dedicated leaders and trustees. Without this team of volunteers - around 20 in all - Bolnore Scouting simply could not continue.
