Bolnore Village Scout Group are looking for a dedicated and organised individual to take on the role of Group Quartermaster.
This is a volunteer role that exists to make sure that Bolnore Village Scout Group:
- Maintains and organises the Group’s equipment and stores.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order.
- Prepare and check equipment before and after camps and events.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment as needed.
- Work closely with the Group Lead Volunteer and other volunteers to support the Group’s activities.
The role has the following requirements:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to the values and ethos of Scouting.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training.
